STAYBRIDGE SUITES
BY IHG

The flagship of the US Army’s 14,000 guestroom Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) initiative, the Staybridge Suites of Fort Belvoir, Virginia, was developed to serve wounded warriors and their families as they seek various treatments at the Army’s $1+ Billion medical facility known as Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. Opened in 2011, the hospital integrated functions of the aged Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The Staybridge Suites is designed and built to US Army standards, and boasts many increased ADA initiatives that assist the Army in carrying out their mission to our wounded service members. The hotel offers children's play areas, a zero-entry pool, an increased portion of ADA compliant rooms, as well as other features and amenities to serve guests with impairments of all types. The hotel is designed in a traditional style to complement the surrounding base architecture.
